Russell Martin

Russell Martin, husband of Marium Parker Martin, of Jeffersonville, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021.  He was a 72 year old native of Montgomery County, son of the late William and Martha Watkins Martin, and a retired member of Local 189.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mary Jane (Brandon) Means, 1 grandson, Harley Russell Henderson (Sarah Owens), 2 great-granddaughters, Heidi and Hanna Owens, a sister, Myrtle Moore, 2 brothers, Leonard and Paul Martin, and a host of nieces and nephews, including special nephew, Jeremy Parker and a sister-in-law, Lodema Stanley.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruscella Adline Martin, and 4 sisters, Bernice Scarberry, Geneva Meadows, Mary Vice and Hazel Sparks.

His funeral will be 7:00 pm Thursday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals.  Visitation is 5-7:00 Thursday.
