SHIRLEY MAE (PARKS) ROE

Shirley Mae Parks Roe, age 70, of Mt. Sterling, passed away at St. Joseph Main in Lexington, KY on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Shirley was born June 2, 1955, in Greenup, KY to the late Narvel and Betty Mae Misner Parks.  Shirley dedicated her life to caring for her family and anyone who needed her.  She loved spoiling her grand and great grandchildren.  She was a member of the John Saw Pentecostal church.

Shirley is survived by her daughter Tina (Lowell) Keeton of Jeffersonville; her son Paul Douglas Roe of Morehead; 4 grandchildren: Crystal Martin, Noah Roe, Jada Roe, Anthony Roe; 2 great grandchildren: River Roe and Waylon Roe; 3 sisters: Linda Manning of Florida, Ada Jones of Jeffersonville and Vickie (Jim) Rister of Jeffersonville; 3 brothers: Jerry (Betty) Parks of Jeffersonville, Sammy (Bonnie) Parks of Jeffersonville and Curtis (Martha) Parks of Mt. Sterling.

Besides her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband James Paul Roe; 1 grandson Sean Douglas Roe; 2 sisters: Mary Davis and Wanda McGuire; 3 brothers: John Parks, Jimmy Parks and Garvin Parks.

A Graveside service will be Saturday, April 25th at 1:00 p.m. at Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery, Jeffersonville, KY.  Officiated by Sammy Parks.
