Sarah Mullins Fultz, wife of the late Cecil Fultz, passed away peacefully at home in the early morning of April 1, 2021. She was born December 5, 1931 to the late Eligh Mullins and Lena Pearl Groves Mullins. Sarah was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family and friends, flowers, and cooking. Sarah was retired from Jockey and a lifelong member of Spring Street Baptist Church.
She is survived by two grandsons, Paul Holland (Billie Jo) and Mark Holland (Sara), three great-granddaughters, Yasmin Holland, Kaylie Holland, and Cassie Haynes-White (Roger), one great-great-granddaughter, Karissa White, four sisters, Susie Mullins, Virginia Mullins, Mary Curtis (Robert), and Pam Markland, two brothers, Wayne Mullins (Ann) and Gradon Mullins (Beverly) and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Reffitt, two brothers, Jimmy and Tommy Mullins, and a sister, Patty Tucker.
Her funeral will be 2:00 Saturday at Spring Street Baptist Church, Pastor Larry Robinson presiding, with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 12-2:00 Saturday at the church. Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals is entrusted with arrangements. Pallbearers are Paul Holland, Mark Holland, Edwin Burden, Charlie Workman, David Willoughby and Tony Curtis.
