Obituary
Shirley Jean Martin, of Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Mt. Sterling, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023. She was a 63-year-old born in Montgomery County, Kentucky to the union of the late Kirk W. Martin Sr. and Dorothy Swartz Martin.
She is survived by 3 brothers, Kirk W. Martin Jr. (Lenora), John Clay Martin (Marsha) and Ernest Martin (Sue), 3 sisters, Ann W. Berger, Carrie Mae Hayes and Brenda Poore, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Donald Martin and Larry Martin, and 2 sisters, Lois Berger and Judy Carol Lawson.
Her graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2023 at Grassy Lick Cemetery. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the graveside.
Arrangements are placed in the care of Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals.
