TOM W SEXTON

Tom W. Sexton, age 72, of Sharpsburg, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 9, 2025, surrounded by his family. Tom was born August 31, 1952 to the late John and Mary Sexton Curtis, in Mt. Sterling, KY.  Tom worked hard to provide for his family at Hobart and as a farmer. Tom was a member of the Victory Chapel Church. 

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Janet Sue Sexton of Sharpsburg; daughter Christi (Mitch) Crump of Sharpsburg; son Jason (Jennifer) Sexton of Ft. Thomas, KY; 2 grandchildren Christian Sexton and Jadon Bargo; 5 sisters: Frances (Randy) Allen, Gracie Coyle, Mary Ruth Patton, Barbara Jean Oaks and Beulah Banks-all of Mt. Sterling; 4 brothers: Russell Curtis of Mt. Sterling, Rodney Sexton of Mt. Sterling, Michael Curtis of Demossville, KY, James Barnes of Clay City; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Besides his parents, Tom was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 13, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Victory Chapel- 5927, E. Veterans Memorial Hwy, Sharpsburg, KY 40374. 

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.  Officiating will be Kevin Miles.

Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Sharpsburg.

Pallbearers: Leonard Martin, Charlie Barnes, Tim Conkright, Jadon Bargo, Harry Hunt, Ralph Hunt.

Honorary Pallbearers:  Scott Allen, Ralph Back, Rick Cole, Jeremy Crouch, Keith Crouch.
