Thomas H. "Bugs" Jackson Jr.

Thomas H. "Bugs" Jackson Jr., husband of Iona Pearl Donithan Jackson, of North Middletown, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2020.  He was an 82 year old native of North Middletown, born to the union of the late Thomas Henderson Sr. and Betsy Lillian Hatton Jackson, an Army veteran, a retired employee from Link Belt, and member of the Masonic Lodge and the Christian faith.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Thad (Jennifer) Jackson, a daughter, Melissa (Roger) Byrd, 4 grandchildren, Andrew Jackson, Abigail Jackson, J.T. Byrd and Christopher Byrd, a sister, Roxey Hampton, and numerous nieces, nephews and family.

His funeral will be 1:00 Monday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Cecil Curtis presiding, with burial in North Middletown Cemetery.  Visitation is 12-1:00 Monday.  Pallbearers are J.T. Byrd, Andrew Jackson, Chris Byrd, Larry Eads, Gary Engle and Rick "Dink" Donithan.  Honorary pallbearers are Davis George, Courtney Hatton, Ricky Donithan, Larry Donithan, Roger Byrd, Paul Hatton and Colin Meadows.
