Thomas Sparks Obituary

Thomas Gordon Sparks, husband of Eva Mae Gabbard Sparks, of Mount Sterling, passed away December 3, 2021 at Saint Joseph Mount Sterling. He was an 89 year old born in Irvine, KY to the union of the late Ruford and Grace Alcorn Sparks, a soil conservationist and member of the Baptist faith.

in addition to his wife, Eva, Thomas is survived by 5 children; Tom Sparks (Joy), Becky Kidd (Randy), Teresa Mayfield (Bob), Tammy Kidd (Greg) and Jennifer Vinson (Kendall), 9 grandchildren; Kayla Henderson (Michael), Lauren Littleton (Leonard), Nathan Kidd, Brandon Vinson, Logan Vinson, John Thomas Sparks, Emily Sparks, Joshua Kidd (Amy), and Jordan Kidd (Loren), 5 great-grandchildren; Alexis Kidd, Abby Kidd, Shyla Kidd, Cash Kidd and Reece Henderson, and 1 sister; Christine Newton.

There will be a private service for the immediate family only.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Reid Village Baptist Church.

Arrangements are placed in the care of Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals.
