Vicki Lynn (Chaffins) Martin

Vicki Lynn Chaffins Martin, widow of Phillip Wayne Martin, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020.  She was a 67 year old native of Mt. Sterling, daughter of the late Ralph and Goldie Lafferty Chaffins Liggett, retired drug-general merchandise clerk from Kroger, and member of the Christian faith.

She is survived by a son, Michael Wayne Martin, 5 grandchildren, Michael Wayne "Scooter" Moses, Mitchell Moses, Samantha "Sammy" Moses, AudreyAnna Marie Martin and Dalton Wayne Martin, 1 great-grandchild, Zoey Lynn Moses, 3 sisters, Bonnie (Bill) Winfrey, Kathy Garrett and Valerie (Scott) Bailey, 6 brothers, Gary (Pat) Chaffins , Kevin (Karie) Chaffins, Glenn (Maria Kay) Liggett, Russell (Sheila) Leggett, Michael Liggett and Mark Liggett, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by a brother, David "Tom" Liggett Jr.

Her funeral will be 12:00 Saturday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Spruce Cemetery.  Visitation is 11-12:00 Saturday.  Contributions are suggested to the American Legion Post 22 Women's Auxiliary.  Pallbearers are Michael and Mitchell Moses, Rusty Leggett, Oakley Vernon Lafferty, Scott and Josh Chaffins.  Following the burial, there will be a potluck gathering at the American Legion building on Winchester Road.
