WILLIAM H PATTON

William H. Patton, age 88, of Jeffersonville, KY, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, KY.  William was born June 12, 1937, in Mt. Sterling to the late Linzy and Pearl Anderson Patton.  William retired from Walker Construction Company.  He and Frances were blessed with 5 sons, 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  Willaim enjoyed many outdoor activities including hunting, fishing and trap shooting.  He was a member of the Hope First Church of God. William will be missed by so many who will find comfort in the memories they will forever cherish.

William is survived by his loving wife of 69 years Frances Marie Sorrell Patton; 5 sons: William Jr. (Jennifer) Patton of Mt. Sterling, Ronnie Patton of Jeffersonville, Michael (Lisa) Patton of Powell County, Rodney Patton of Jeffersonville, Daniel (Jessica) Patton of Jeffersonville; 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren; 1 sister Carolyn (Warren) Rogers of Irvine.

Besides his parents, William was preceded in death by 1 grand daughter Sarah Patton and 1 sister Imagean Patton.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.

Officiating will be Glen Sizemore.

Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Stanton, KY

Pallbearers: Michael Patton, Adam Patton, Ethan Patton, Daniel Patton, William Parks, Sayre Parks, Christian Parks.
