WILLIAM L JOHNSON

William L. Johnson, age 82, passed away on June 20, 2025, in Montgomery County, Kentucky. William was born on January 9, 1943, to the union of the late Ray and Gladys Johnson. He was a veteran from the Army in the Vietnam Era and was a retired drywall finisher.  William was of the Christian faith.

William is survived by his wife, Pamela Wilson Johnson of Jeffersonville, KY; two daughters, Kimberly (Bob) Henderson and Karie (Kevin) Chaffins, both of Jeffersonville, KY; two grandchildren, Travis Culbertson and Tyler Henderson; one great grandchild, Kinley Henderson; his brother, Ronnie (Donna) Johnson; his nieces; one sister in law Sandy (Jeff) Conn; and a special friend, Gail Harris.

Besides his parents, William is preceded in death by his daughter, Sherrie Hopkins; one grandson, Douglas Ray Hopkins; and one brother-in-law, Ronnie Wilson.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Herald and Stewart Home for Funerals Chapel in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Officiating will be Robbie Conn. Burial will follow at the Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery in Jeffersonville, KY.

Pallbearers: Tim Bellamy, Benny Collingsworth, Travis Culbertson, Tyler Henderson, Mason Harris, and Robbie Elliot.
