WILMA (VICE) MCCARTY

Wilma Vice McCarty, age 83, of Mt. Sterling, KY, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026, at St. Joseph East in Lexington, KY.  Wilma was born March 24, 1943, in Montgomery County to the late Ira Lee and Ada Pearl Carpenter Vice.  Wilma retired after 25 years at Masco Cabinet Factory.  She enjoyed working in her yard as well as in her kitchen baking. She loved her family above everything and she and Earl were blessed with 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Wilma attended the First Church of God.

Wilma is survived by her loving husband Earl McCarty of Mt. Sterling; 2 daughters: Gina (Gary) Blevins of Mt. Sterling and Tina McCarty of Arizona; 1 son-Edwin Earl (Brandy) McCarty of Mt. Sterling; 3 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 10 great grandchildren; 1 brother-Arnold Vice and sister Linda White.

Besides her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Norville White and sister-in-law Maxine Vice.

No visitation or service.
