Bernice Grubb Parker, widow of Billy Parker, of Jeffersonville, passed away Monday, July 18, 2016. She was an 83 year old native of Clay County, daughter of the late Horsie and Clara Burns Grubb, a retired automobile upholsterer, and member of Jeffersonville Assembly of God.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Penny (Tim) Lykins and Judy Vaughn, 2 sons, Tony (Gladys) Parker and Terry Parker, 6 grandchildren, Michael K. Martin, Brian Parker, Paula (Nick) Joseph, Nicole (David) Parker, Daniel (Alison) Lykins and Rebecca Grubb, 7 great-grandchildren, Isaac, Luke and Brianna Parks, Jaycie and Nolan Lykins, Kaitlyn Harris and Dawson Gentry, and a brother, Kenneth (Donna) Grubb. She was preceded in death by a sister, Maudie Lykins, a brother, Forster Grubb and a son-in-law, Herbert Vaughn.
Her funeral will be noon Thursday at Jeffersonville Assembly of God with burial in Grubb & Parker Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8:00 Wednesday at the church. Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.
