Roy Lee Holder Sr., widower of Rita Darlene Barnes Holder, of Jeffersonville, passed away Friday, September 23, 2016. He was a 67 year old native of Montgomery County, son of the late Nick Holder and Gertha Rogers Holder of Montgomery County, an Army veteran and retired employee from Jockey International. He is survived by 2 sons, Roy (Barbara) Holder Jr. of Montgomery County and Jeffrey (Melissa) Holder of Owensboro, 4 grandchildren, LaShannon Lynn (Joshua) Spencer, Destany Jade Holder, Joshua Wayne Holder and Justin Lee Holder, 5 great-grandchildren, Brendon Holder, Cali and Owen Spencer, Everett Wright, and Ryleigh Healea, and special friend, Melissa Watkins. There will be a private family service at a later date.
