Obituary

Charlotte Jean Johnson Bentley, wife of Ishmael Bentley, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, KY. She was a 78 year old born in Pike County, KY to the union of the late Virgil and Juanita Johnson, a loving wife and mother.

In addition to her husband, Charlotte is survived by 4 sons, Craig Bentley (Wendy), Bryan Bentley (Karen), Ishmael Bentley (Sokunthea) and Adrian Bentley; a granddaughter, Valentina Bentley; 3 step grandchildren, Justin Bates, Randi Bates and Sayla Hendry; 2 sisters, Linda Johnson and Anita Mullins; and a brother, Larry Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Gary Johnson; and a sister, Bette Hall, and 2 daughters, Patrilla and Patricia Johnson.

Her funeral will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Bruce Taylor presiding with burial to follow in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the funeral home.

Arrangements are placed in the care of Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals.
