Edward "Moe" Earl Montgomery

Edward Earl "Moe" Montgomery, husband of Freida Campbell Montgomery, passed away Thursday, December 16 at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester. He was a 78 year old born in Magoffin County to the union of the late Earnest "Whitey" and Haley Howard Montgomery, a former carpenter and attended the Jeffersonville Assembly of God. 

In addition to his wife Freida, Moe is survived by 2 daughters; Tracy O'Hair (Michael) and Regina Hiddink (Cliff), 2 grandchildren; Tabetha O'Hair and Sarah O'Hair, 3 brothers; Oakley Montgomery (Anna Marie), Carl Montgomery (Ann) and Billy Joe Montgomery (Gaye), 3 sisters; Imma Willoughby (Robert), Brenda Parker (Danny) and Ruby Lewelling, and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; Charles Montgomery and a sister; Opal Castle. 

His funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 23 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Robbie Conn and David Campbell presiding, with burial to follow in Lovely-Amburgey Cemtery. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
