Kathryn Pendleton Gilvin

Kathryn Pendleton Gilvin, widow of Earl Gilvin, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Windsor Care Center in Mt. Sterling, KY. She was a 97 year old born in Bath County, KY to the late Charles and Mae Spencer Pendleton, a seamstress and member of the Christian Faith.

She is survived by a son, Earl Clay Gilvin; 2 granddaughters, April Prater and Monica Gilvin; 5 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; along with 2 brothers, Ken Pendleton and Yule Pendleton. In addition to her parents and husband, Kathryn was preceded in death by a son, Terry Gilvin; a grandson, Brian Gilvin; as well as several brothers and sisters.

Her funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2024 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Dan Murphy and Jerry Carmichael presiding with burial to follow in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
