Nelson Clay Roark

Nelson Clay Roark, of Owingsville, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021.  He was a 73 year old born in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the union of the late Wardie and Eula Faye Kilgore Roark.  He was a farmer and retired employee from Cowden's Manufacturing and attended the Church of God.

He is survived by 2 brothers, Danny (Angie) Roark and Roy (Gracie) Roark, 3 sisters, Rella Hall, Mary Hart and Joy Brooks, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by 3 brothers-in-law, Dalmas Hall, Cecil Brooks and Nelson Hart, and 5 nephews, Dale Hall, Dwayne "Duke" Hall, Keith Brooks, Roe Brooks and Johnnie Roark.

His funeral will be 2:00 Friday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals.  Visitation is 11-2:00 Friday.
