Sherry Gay

Sherry Gay, daughter of the late Wallace "Jack" and Deloris Jones transitioned to her heavenly home on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at an extended care facility in Hopkinsville, KY. She was born on August 18, 1955 in Montgomery County, where she was a member of the 1975 graduating class. Sherry was also a member of High Street Christian Church.

She is survived by 4 sisters; Darmita Clemons (Howard), Jacqueline Hamblin (Danny), Nancy Jones and Lynette Owens (Ronald), a brother; Steven Jones, an aunt, Marcella Crockett (Larry), 4 nieces, 2 nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Deloris Jones.

A graveside service will be held 12:30 Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Olive Hill Cemetery, Rev. Darrell Hayden presiding with burial to follow. A visitation for family and friends of Sherry will take place prior to the service from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals.

Sherry was loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews.
