Wendell Culbertson, widow of the late Mary Faye Tabor Culbertson, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021. He was a 78 year old native of Montgomery County, son of the late Bill and Ethel Campbell Culbertson, a retired employee of the Laborer's Local Union, farmer and member of Antioch Christian Church.
Wendell is survived by 1 son; Gerald Wayne (Shawna) Culbertson, 4 grandchildren; Brittany Culbertson (Adam Flanders), Morgan Culbertson (Ashlea), Cruz Culbertson (Kailan) and Zac Culbertson, 10 great-grandchildren; Morgan Lynn Jackson, Dawson Klae Jackson, Kayley Ann Jackson, Preston Blake Jackson, Mollie Marie Culbertson, Riley Brock Johnson, Marley Kate Culbertson, Hannah Grace Jackson, Wyatt Taylor Culbertson and Ryleigh Ann Culbertson,1 sister; Marcella Barker, 1 brother; Warren Culbertson (Eileen), 3 nephews; Ronnie Adkins (Lilie), Billy Horn (Kathleen) and Robert "Bobby" Horn, as well as 1 niece; Rhonda Patrick. In addition to his wife and his parents, Wendell as preceded in death by 1 sister; Arnenda Posmikewich and 1 nephew; Donald Adkins.
His funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 21 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Bros. Steve McGuire, Roger McGuire and Bobby Tabor presiding with burial to follow in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 20.
Pallbearers are Morgan Culbertson, Cruz Culbertson, Zac Culbertson, Dawson Klae Jackson, Larry Olinger and Adam Flanders. Honorary pallbearers are Billy Horn, William Roland, Tony Davis and Bobby Horn.
