Wanda Butcher Adams, widow of Eddie Lane Adams, of Jeffersonville, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016. She was a 61 year old native of Montgomery County, daughter of the late James Clayton and Anna Mary Whaley Butcher, owner and operator of Diamond A Tack and attended Hope Church of God.
She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer (Steve) Allen, a son, Jimmy (Tiffany) Adams, 5 grandchildren, Dawson and Maggie Adams, Anna Michele Hash, Alyssa and Taylor Allen, 3 sisters, Phyllis (James) Humphries, Barbara Oldson and Wilma (Allen) DeAtley, a brother, Andy (Charlotte) Butcher, and a sister-in-law, Brenda Holder. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Barry Oldson.
Her funeral will be 10:00 Monday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Owingsville Cemetery. Visitation is 3-7:00 Sunday. Contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass or a youth charity of ones choice.
