Lovell Clay Stevens

Lovell Clay Stevens, husband of Joan Ray Conway Stevens, of Frenchburg, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011. He was an 89 year old native of Cabin Creek, West Virginia, the son of the late William Marshall and Maudie Pearl Barnes Stevens. He was an Army veteran of WWII, retired employee from Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, and a member of the Pentecostal Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 3 sons, John Bryan (Helen) Stevens of Cuba, Ohio, Lovell Clay (Vicky) Stevens Jr. of Frenchburg, and David Ray (Sherry) Stevens of Mt. Sterling, a daughter, Patricia Ann Stevens of Wilmington, Ohio, 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, a brother, William (Jean) Stevens of Vancouver, Washington, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. His funeral will be 2:00 Sunday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Fagan Cemetery. Visitation is 6-9:00 Saturday.
