Zach Bruce

Thomas Zach Bruce, husband of JoAnn Wilson Weikel Bruce, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011. He was a 61 year old native of Rowan County, the son of the late Curt and Evelyn Gose Bruce, owner and operator of American Tech-nologies, and a member of the Methodist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Katie (Bryan) Hurst of Carlisle, 2 sons, Joey (Nancy Thomas) Bruce of Mt. Sterling and Kent (Sherry) Bruce of Fleming County, a stepson, Bill Weikel of Brooklyn, New York, a step-daughter, Amanda Weikel of Lexington, 6 grandchildren, Sydney Duff, Kallee Bruce, Kaithlyn Phillips, Kohl Bruce, Nathan Butler and Garrett Weaver, his mother-in-law, Dorothy Littletown of Mt. Sterling and a cousin, Jennifer Higgins of Louisville. His funeral will be 1:00 Tuesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is 11-1:00 Tuesday.
